International conference “Protecting Cultural Heritage in Times of Armed Conflict. Second Protocol to the Hague Convention – How to Make it Work?” took place in Tallinn, on February 7–8, 2008.

The aim of this conference was to disseminate the principles of the 1954 Hague Convention and its Protocols to the armed forces and to the personnel engaged in the protection of cultural property, and to exchange the practical experiences of implementing the Second Protocol to The Hague Convention.
